Raja Sweis is Senior Advisor at William & Wall. He is a senior aerospace and defense executive with over 25 years of experience driving strategic growth, executing complex programs, and leading high-impact teams across the U.S., Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa. Most recently, he served as the MENA Business Development Regional Executive for Rotary Mission Solutions (RMS) at Lockheed Martin, where he led regional execution and business pursuits across a comprehensive portfolio—including C4ISR, Sikorsky platforms, Cyber Solutions, Directed Energy, Electronic Warfare, Maritime Solutions, Radars and Sensors, Training and Logistics, and Unmanned Systems.

Before that, Mr. Sweis was the Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa with Lockheed Martin Space. Throughout his tenure, he oversaw the capture and execution of multibillion-dollar initiatives, spearheaded regional industrial participation strategies, and managed end-to-end lifecycle solutions—from early proposal and negotiation phases through development, production, delivery, sustainment, and final disposition. He is widely regarded for his ability to navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems and align cross-functional resources around mission-critical objectives.

His career began in the U.S. Air Force, where he helped lead one of the military’s earliest enterprise GIS implementations—pioneering the convergence of spatial analytics, remote sensing, and geospatial intelligence into integrated operational workflows.

Mr. Sweis holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Illinois, several graduate-level professional certificates and is a Lockheed Martin-certified Executive Program Management Professional.

Since retiring from Lockheed Martin, Mr. Sweis has continued to support innovation across the defense sector. He actively advises and invests in a number of U.S.-based and international defense startups, bringing extensive programmatic knowledge, strategic insight, and global market fluency to ventures shaping the future of aerospace, security, and advanced technologies.
