Mara Babin
Senior Advisor
Mara Babin is Senior Advisor at William & Wall. She is an international business lawyer and executive coach with more than 30 years of experience helping leaders shape corporate strategy, governance, and execution. She currently serves as a Partner at MBMC International PLLC, where she provides fractional general counsel and strategic advisory to founders and executive teams, and coaches a select group of leaders through periods of growth, transition, and scale. She is also Founder of High Altitude Strategies, helping leaders build companies they imagine.
Ms. Babin has served as fractional general counsel to companies across a wide range of sectors, including VTOL aviation, Alzheimer's diagnostics, autoimmune health, behavioral healthcare, plant-based foods, and industrial manufacturing. She was a co-founder of AbilTo, a pioneer in the delivery of virtual mental health care nearly a decade before the practice became widespread, and has previously served as General Counsel of Mymee, a digital health company.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Babin managed the London office of Squire Patton Boggs, a global law firm, where she built the firm's European private equity practice across emerging markets in Central Europe and the Gulf—work spanning multiple jurisdictions and cultures that shaped a practice grounded in cultural awareness and disciplined execution.
Ms. Babin is Managing Director and co-founder of the Arizona chapter of Golden Seeds, a national investor network dedicated to expanding access to capital for talented women entrepreneurs.
Ms. Babin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, and completed executive and management studies at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. A dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom, she divides her time between Phoenix, Arizona, and New York City.
